Following a two weekend break from markets due to a ‘research’ trip to Northern California, it was back to business this past weekend!
Saturday’s market at Sligo Farmers Market in IT Sligo was a bit damp & cold & very winter like but as usual there was a great turnout! We had our brownies, blondies, cupcake of the day, vanilla bean scones & of course a selection of our cookie flavours!
Then in the enclosed Sligo Airport on Sunday, we had the Strandhill Peoples Market. We love it here…we live in the village after all!! On a cold but sunny day, there was such a great buzz about which is great for a mid-November! For this market we had 3 flavours of our whoopie pies, 2 different kinds of macarons & for the first time in Strandhill, our cookies, large & small ones! We’re already looking forward to this coming weekend!
For the Christmas period, we will be flat out with local markets! Strandhill Peoples Market will be on Sunday as always, but there’ll also be a Friday evening market, from 6pm-10pm and we’ll be there also! And we’ll still be doing Sligo Farmers Market on Saturdays!
We’re also taking orders of course for the holiday period, whether its some mince pies you need, or cakes, just let us know here!!
How cute is our tweaked logo just for the holiday season! Thanks to Gary Reddin for adding the seasonal touches!
